A bakers dozen & a breath of fresh air.

Well. It has been awhile. I am excited to be sitting at my computer once again. This week has marked our official "Semester Break" and made for an opportunity to escape from Davao for awhile, as well as entertain some friends from afar! The weekend started with three girls dropping down to Davao to visit. Stephanie Sinnamon, who I met at CHBC, and two other girls (Carolyn & Amber) who have been helping out at GVBC in India are here in Manila for awhile... and so decided to come down for the weekend. It was great fun. They all got to witness new life at the clinic during the night that connected Friday and Saturday... and we were also able to spend a night on the beach. Good times, great memories. Good God. It was really such an uplifting time for me. Grand.
MTHEN... I flew up with the girls, back to Manila, and met up with Jenny, Starla and Charity, who I work with here... and we spent a few days in Manila and this great mountain town named Baguio. Was really wonderful. y favorite part was drinking slurpees and wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt the WHOLE time! It is getting really warm here. The cold air was SO refreshing!... "A breath of fresh air..."
Got home on Thursday... was sick all day Friday with some strange bug... and got to work this morning... and FINALLY catch another baby! It had been since Feb 21 since I'd had the pleasure... so it was a real treat. My official "bakers dozen" baby. He was named Jeremy... and had the cutest big eyes...
