Tha amazing Gina... and her fabulous friends!

SO I had an amazing day!
Woke up at 6am... laid awake pondering life and enjoying the view from my bunk till 7:30am (I don't know HOW that much time passed, ps...) and then mozzied out of bed an mulonged up my breakfast with si Jenna.

I was plugging away at homework when Charlyn texted and said that we could go to Isle Verde (my fav. place in this world I live) and do prenatal's on the preggo's there.
So off to the jeep I set... and even sat in the front seat... (one of my "goals to do while in the Phils"... silly?! I know!) Then when on and away to visit the beautiful ladies I have come to love.

First we visited Gina... her husband has only been given a few more months to live... and they are the most amazing couple! They have three kids... and another on the way... VERY on the way! When we got to her house she said that she had been in labour since 6am!! And so we devised a plan that we would go do prenatal's on the rest of the ladies we were to visit... and come back to check on Gina when we were done... and then she could just come with me back to the clinic if all was going as planned!

The rest of the prenatal's went great... I didn't get to see my favorite little boy Abraham... but I got to meet the new baby of (shoot I forget her name Jenn... but here is a picture taken just for you... I will try to email it soon...). I also got to visit Dina/Popoy and it was great! See is also very with child... and has quite the cute little one as well...

Back to Gina's we went... and when we got there she was all packed and ready to go... and said she couldn't distinguish were the pain was anymore... but it was just everywhere (a very GOOD sign!)

So Gina, her husband and I ventured back to the clinic... I think we got there about 11:45am... and by 1:32pm Reygin... a brand new precious little gal, was gleefully welcomed into the loving arms of ma and pa. It was a spectacular occasion. Seeing this man, who you know does not have much longer to be around here, rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord is a pretty spectacular thing!

SO much fun to be there in that moment... my heart was full of God's faithfulness and care for each of his people... not matter how the world sees them... or the hope they have in this life!

So Gina and Reygin took up my day... and a gaming extravaganza took up my night! We of the orange house had a bunch of friends over to play games for the evening... and it was pretty spectacular. Loads of laughter, friends... and breakage of mugs that spontaneously fly off the balcony! Perfect end to a perfect day?

Well I thought... until at 5 after 10pm, in the middle of a game of cheat, the Mercy guard comes over to our house, saying Ate Susan was wondering where I was...
I go over to the clinic... and endorsements at shift change are going on... and I realize that somehow, in the midst of the events of the day I had completely spaced on the fact that I was SUPPOSED to be working night shift! OOPS!

So my night was FAR from over... and my night was far from ordinary... but I will sum it up and say that I caught a baby at 2:30am... and there were also three other babies born on shift... and in all the spare moments I was chatting with a new friend who happened to be hanging out at the clinic for the evening. Perfect all around.

And now I have a time-line that is running out, so I GOTTA get to homework here... and as it is due tomorrow... and well... the day is running down!

(I forgot to bring my camera cord with me... so I will have to upload the pics of all these times later! sorry for the delay... please come back now... ya hear:D!)
