So... months ago now, this friend named Jay thought of a brilliant plan to incorporate a visit to the Philippines, into an upcoming trip... Being that he knew me from Capes, and a classmate of mine here JENNA, from his homeland it worked out perfectly to stop in to Da-vie-owe (as this foreigner pronounced), and visit us while in the country. I wasn't so convinced all those months ago that it would actually happen... now I know not to doubt his word!
So, Jay was here this past weekend for a, less-than-24-hour, visit... and it was grand. How fun it is to have visitors from the homeland when you are out-and-about... and it was great showing him around our city... and around the clinic where we spend most of our days.
Just so wonderful to share stories and catch up on the life that has passed by... as well as laughing about the past. Funny how no matter where you are on the globe some things are still just as hilarious... like photo booth, the German coastguard... and other movie favorites that accompany Jay wherever he goes!
Well... I'm thankful that he stopped in to say "hello ma-am"... and I say "thank you sir" to him for making the trip.
Here's a little photo booth magic we participated in whist he was here... do enjoy!

Well, dear Lois, you never did like "normal" pictures and these are rather rare. The second one is something else. Dad kind of likes the way Jenna's eyes are buggy and lopsided! Must have had a distorting mirror in that phone booth. Loads of love, Mom
lolo. it's ALways a pleasure..
