...but what if there are no pictures? What then...? I can't bore you all with a thousand words, but I must say a few!
This evening was for me a delightful one. My roommate Sarah's patient invited us to dine with her family. I had the privilege of accompanying Sarah to this house once before, and feel so privileged to have been able to again! The night was full of many wonderful moments... and today I feel much love and warmth in my heart towards Filipino's. Enjoying this family is such a highlight for me, and being in their home, such an honour and treat. My stomach is SO full, even still... and we laughed so much with the mother and father... wonderful humour fills that home.
Communicating on such excellent grounds... neither of us masters of the others language... creates so, so much opportunity for good fun! Their son is now to choose one of us to marry, and we are to come again for Christmas, and Fiesta in January... and "Everyday" if we want to.
Two moments outside of our dining experience really caught my eye, and made my heart smile today... and I will share them here if you don't mind! The first was on the way home from the mall today, from the back of a motorcycle, I saw a hand-painted sign, blocking part of the road and it read: "Very sorry for the inconvenience, ditch reconstruction". A people that apologizes for fixing the road? They are amazing! So what if they stare... they are so kind it is ridiculous!
Or how about when I was digging through my wallet for change when we got back to the house tonight. Celine Dion was blasting on the radio, and suddenly there is light to guide my searching fingers. Alas, when I look up the light that illuminates the cab is not a dome light, or any electronic light at that, but rather a cigarette lighter... and that is why is has been going off every few seconds... because the driver is burning his fingers for me, as our souls are illuminated by the vocal graces of the one and only Celine. Beauty, I tell you. Beauty! So this is life today... and come to think of it, pictures often ruin moments like these, where true beauty is so naturally expressed.

I truly appreciate your way with words dear lolo!
I'm always so encouraged by your posts and expressions of what you're up to and feeling. Sounds like a wonderful time of growth. Praying that you would continue to reflect His love. Take Care.
sweet, super sweet, wish I could sit and chat with you about this stuff, you have a way with words Lo. wonderful blessings your way!
Lolo, I miss you so much. Harbourview just isn't the same without you. Donna visited this weekend and we were recalling many fun stories... hunting deer?! Ha ha. I thank you for your entry. Like the girls before me have said, you are good with words. Your descriptive thoughts and feelings are a much better picture in my mind than any snapshot. Thanks Lolo for the true beauty of you!
