So I guess that today marks the official three weeks only till I go home for sister Sarah's wedding... and officially arrive home too. Amazing how long that day will be. Possibly the second longest day of my life to date!
I am certainly getting excited to be at home for two whole weeks... seems like life has taken me anywhere but "home" for the past few years... and now, even though I have only been here for 7 months (I guess it will almost be 8th month then...) I am heading back to Three Hills for one of my usual... "Heya & a see-ya-lata" trips. These are good trips, and I am very thankful for every opportunity... just trying right now to see through these next three weeks... and imagine the great feeling it will be when I step on that plane with Well Woman, and Stats off my back... and in its place, a bag full of long pants... and treats for the friends & fam.
The mountain that I need to climb over in order to get to April 22 seems pretty big right now, but I know God's grace is pretty big too. I must just tread on, and pray for His strength and plan in these days! Pray for me if you think about it. That would be amazing!
I can't wait to connect with as many of you as possible. It feels like Christmas going home... so many wonderful things waiting underneath the lack of trees:)! Except for the fact that it doesn't feel like Christmas at all right now... because it is SO HOT! Like, fan-directed-right-at-me, I-just-drank-4-glasses-of-water, I-might-DIE HOT. But I love it:)!... and can't wait to wear sweats and curl up in blankets on my roof at home in THREE WEEKS!. Ok. I really am excited... this is nuts!
Speaking of the mountain. I have some treading to do right about NOW... so I better run along... and hopefully I will keep posted along the way. There is always SOMEthing to blog about when you serve a faithful and living Saviour.

Yeah, Loie, we can hardly wait for you to come HOME. I know we could ask what HOME is when you live all over the world, but if home is where your mom and dad are and where some of your siblings still hang out, then we have a huge WELCOME HOME for you! Three weeks tonight we meet you at Calgary airport--and in the mean time we are praying about all the things you have to get done first. Love you lots, our girl,
Dad and Mom
