IV's were the name of today's game, as we officially had "IV Class", even though several of us have been doing them a bit already. The objective for the class was that each of the 9 participants had to get one successful IV in order to "pass". It is fun to learn things like this together... a great time to be able to appreciate each others weaknesses, fears and victories! We all came out alive, with only slight hematoma's, and we all "passed"!!
I only got poked twice... and though the backs of both of my hands are still a bit sore, I am sure that it will quickly pass... and it is a small price to pay for the knowledge gained.
I am flying out in about 36 hours... so I'll see many of you SOON!

Oh yes... and this last pick is the ride home a couple of us got from the clinic today... I personally took the ride in hopes of staying dry... and then the roof dumped on me. Oh boy. I am still wet from it 4+ hours later! Definitely should have walked.

I LOVE the wet pic of you! So funny that you took the ride to stay dry, but... I walked home after the rain subsided a bit, and was 100 times drier than you!

the wetness reminds me of when we dumped buckets of water over the edge of the hedge at capes....we shoulda done that more, FUNNAY! miss you lolo!
