Wow. It's been a bit. I will try to not bore you with pictures... oh, I mean words... but here is a synopsis of the past days... or errr... MONTH.
The day after the baby popped out in the taxi I was off to Canada on a big jet plane. The sky was such a masterpiece on the way... A great reminder of the awesome God who called me to this place... and continually provides.
The two weeks at home were amazing. I was able to spent a few hours with my uncle and cousins in Vancouver, before I jumped on a ferry heading to Victoria. Donna (my cooking mate from Capes) and I then ventured up to Thetis to spend most of a day visiting dear friends... and Lama's. It was a perfect day. I love that little part of the world!
Then it was off to Three Hills...Those little hills brought me nearly two weeks of shear JOY. I loved hanging out with: my sis, her new husband, my JB... M&D, Chris, SUE and her new hubby, NEEN and Jolanda, Karyn, James, Sarah, Ben and Tim... as we: frolicked through the hills, enjoyed ice cream makin, camping, wedding prep, bike rides, thunder, showers, Indian dinners, weddings, pictures, coffee... and SO much more. A perfect trip to a grand little place.
The "main event" was a joy to be a part of, and a wonderful celebration of our sovereign God who brings us together, and demonstrates HIS love through our lives. And PAM was a star, that is for certain!!
The time ran out all to quick... and before I knew it I was back on a big old plane heading for Vancouver... where I spent a day with a roomy and dear friend from college, Gina... There we ate wraps in the sun, and enjoyed catching up on life and knitting... and all those really important things!
Back to Davao it was from there, just in time to get ready for my school's graduation ceremony!
The Fall '05 class has now graduated... and left us here... I miss them heaps! But they are on to new and exciting ventures... and I am excited for all that the Lord has in store!
So that brings us to life today... with a continuity in labour who should pop any time... and new friends coming and going as interns come and help out for the summer.
I am glad I am alive on the 20th of July 2007... and I am glad I could finally write a bit of a blog for you all... sorry it took so long!
