Just another day in the Philippines...

Jonna and I really like riding jeeps together... especially when it comes to the Obrero jeeps...

She has been gone for a few months... and today was our first opportunity to go on a little adventure together in quite some time. She had the brilliant idea of enjoying the neighbourhood on the way to the jeepney location... and oh man, we were in for a treat!

Low and behold a Lechon Baboy was just a roasting away on the side of the little street next to our own! This weekend is a big festival here in Davao, and obviously these fine folks were doing some prep work for the big celebration!
YUMM...

I think my favorite part was when the skinny little tattooed man in the photo asked us to take a picture of him... and then proceeded to take off his shirt (to reveal his painted body:D) and then pose beside the much larger man who was turning the spit.

Moments like these make Asia irresistible! OH MAN!
PS... I love jeepney's and look forward to the next jeepney adventure with si Jonna!
