Laurence Hans.

Last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to become more involved in a dear little families lives, as I became the godmother of Laurence Hans. His mother is the Tisay, or Mary Ann of previous posts.

Prenatally God brought many opportunities to us to talk about fear, and His sufficiency. I really appreciate this woman, and her ultra soft heart!

Laurence was transported to the hospital, due to the risk of infection from mec staining at birth. He proceeded to develop quite the infection over the next few days, and ended up being hospitalized for over two weeks.

Two months later he is healthy and well, though a lot smaller than your average two month old! Mary Ann texted me the other day wondering if I wanted to stand up for Laurence among other friends and family at his baptism. I was happy too... and seriously enjoyed the time with these friends... and of course the traditional Merieinda lunch that goes with such occasions!
