Heart ache to heart ache we stand...

So... I don't know quite why this blog came to mind... but well... I wanted to recap on a bit of life these past weeks of blogger silence.

First of all, my roomate Medea who's swiss shared a bag of her Haribo gummy bears with us one night when we were studying... and I had fun playing with them... and then eating them:)!

I was reminded of how when we stand together, we stand strong... and when we fall together, we all fall down... but we stay together... united in purpose... united in passion... and all the more united through suffering.

Good reminders for tough times. Yummy reminders too.

So my friend Candice came to visit also this past weekend... SOO great to spend time with this girl... sharing life... sharing passions... sharing struggles... and sharing the victories of all God is doing in our live... and of course sharing a few bags of chips... a few movies... and a day at the spa! We met as moreso acquaintances... but I feel like we parted as friends.

The unexpected is ALWAYS welcome... and well... becoming almost always expected in this here life of mine.

I liked making new creatures out of these little bears... this pic kindda reminds me of how, when you live and breathe in community you have the privilege of gleaning from all of the wonderful people around you... and you become all that much more tasty (aka beautiful) as you are molded... make compatible... and well changed.

Amazing what pondering on a few gummy bears can do.
SO I stand. Thankful for those beautiful people around me who share in victories... share in heart ache... and who teach me, by example, how to be more like my master and chief.
