So, you wonder why there are cracks in the walls?

It's because God is super strong.
So, I've heard several times over the past three months that earthquakes are a common occurrence here. Well, it just happens to be that feeling an earthquake is one of my life goals. I was getting pretty bummed at supper tonight when, apparently, there was yet another earthquake, that I yet again did not feel. Little did I know that my dream was so soon to be realized.
So I am pulling a "half-nighter" to get some homework out of the way, and seriously, just moments ago, my bed started shaking... and I actually could feel it sway! Incredible! MY WORD! I stood up and felt the movement travel up my legs...
I live in a cement house; everything around me is cement. I stood up and thought, for a second, about how amazing it was that, right at that moment, I could feel God moving the earth (or at least the section I was standing on)!! AMAZING! And I was even wearing my favorite underwear for the occasion. What a good night! If only the homework was that enthralling! At least I'm awake to feel it! What a treat! A highlight? You better believe it!

Dude, yet another thing we have in common. A life goal of mine as well is to feel an earthquake. I as well have just missed them. Once because I was sitting on a tall chair in AK and probably just thought it was a fat man walking by. :) Ahh well. Soon. Cameron has felt a few so if I stick near him it is bound to happen. I just have the feeling that when the moment occurs, I will be to dumb to know what it is.
